HPM has recently opened its its ultra-modern 13-000 S/M plant located in Ansung City south of Seoul. It is equipped with a complete line of 10-color roto-gravure printing, laminating, pouch-making and spout-inserting, bag-in-box systems and other related facilities.
HPM’s new plant will be also equipped with pellet-making (compounding) and extruding equipment for eco-friendly biodegradable plastics and to this end is already operating its R&D center with a vision to creating clean Planet Earth. The company’s R/D center will play a pivotal role in upgrading bio-degradable plastics into diverse applications with better physical properties and price competitiveness. As a packaging solution provider, HPM, along its value-added flexible packaging materials, also supplies packaging machines for liquid, liquid/solid, solid and powdered products.
The company offers not only retort-able pouch (microwavable & self-venting), but also other value-added, high-barrier flexible packaging both in roll stack and preformed pouches such as retort-able tray, yogurt lid, roll for cold seal, and high speed sealable film in low temperature. Recently HPM has successfully developed the Quadro (4-gripper) rotary Fill-Seal machine that can produce as high as 140 packs/minute (based on 100-500 grams/pack), the highest in its kind in the market.
