Unick’s solenoid valve allows automatic transmission to be performed in optimum conditions and is all being sold to the domestic automotive manufacturers – Hyundai, Kia. The valve is an essential part in automotive body that operates brake and clutch by effectively controlling the internal hydraulic of the automatic transmitter through receiving information sent from various sensors in vehicle equipped with automatic transmitter.
Unick has launched a new version of solenoid valve for 6-speed automatic transmitter in 2008 following the release of solenoid valve for 5-speed automatic transmitter in 2004 after the release of a solenoid valve for 4-speed automatic transmitters in 1992. Notably, Unick has started its massproduction world second of the recently developed solenoid valve directly controlled for 8-speed automatic transmitter.
The valve is currently being loaded in luxury vehicles of Hyundai and Kia and is a key component in vehicles of over 3400cc. Unick is further steadily securing global level technology, while exploring larger markets abroad to become a global company. Its main product lines comprised of valves, watches, cigar lighters, sensors and E-EGR. Among its main clients are Hyundai, Kia, SsangYong, Renault Samsung, GM, Proton, Ssaipa, Chrysler, etc. Its sales in 2013 stood at $129 million.
