As a company specializing in semiconductor special precision chemical materials, YCCHEM has succeeded in localizing semiconductor special cleaning equipment and is about to launch it.
The special cleaning equipment developed by YCCHEM can replace expensive imported equipment that semiconductor material companies mainly used in the product-development process. Domestic semiconductor material companies are expecting a reduction in production costs with the news of localization.

The newly developed equipment is a hybrid product that can be used in both single-spin and batch types, and is expected to replace equipment that was previously imported at high cost from Japan and other countries.
A spokesperson for YCCHEM explained, “As demand for AI semiconductors increases worldwide, semiconductor manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron are increasing their production volumes, so the domestically produced cleaning equipment will be very helpful to semiconductor material companies.”
Moreover, YCCHEM is currently in the final stages of developing a high-selectivity phosphoric-acid concentration analysis and measurement equipment to have it evaluated by global customers within this year, so that it can be applied to mass-production by chipmakers.
YCCHEM’s R&D Center was approved as the Company’s Central Research Laboratory in Jan. 2008.
Excellent researchers, including doctoral degree holders and master’s degree holders, are working at YCCHEM’s R&D Center, conducting researches in areas, such as fine chemicals, display & semiconductor materials, and general industry materials.
