Premium Leisure Boat
[INQ. NO. 2410C01] Designed and manufactured by Bay Industrial since 1986, LodeStar is a leading brand in the leisure boat market known for its durability, weather resistance, and UV protection.
The boats are manufactured in its Korean and Chinese factories using state-of-the-art automated machinery, ensuring precision and consistency in production. Meeting strict CE and ISO standards, LodeStar boats are trusted worldwide. With LodeStar, Bay Industrial has successfully entered the international market, particularly in Europe.
Bay Industrial has also collaborated with world-renowned partners such as Mercury in the United States, Williams Jet Tenders in the UK, and Zodiac Nautic in France. As a result, Bay Industrial has designed and launched a wide range of inflatable boats and rigid inflatable boats.

Special Purpose Boats
The RAPTOR MP470, FR400, and Arancia A380 models are representative examples of high-performance, special-purpose boats. These specialized boats feature patented automatic high-pressure inflation technology, allowing full inflation within 30 to 60 seconds. This rapid deployment capability makes them ideal for emergency or high-risk operations.
Another advantage is that the RAPTOR can be equipped with special features such as underwater concealment, making it suitable for covert military missions. The utility of these special features has been recognized both domestically and internationally.
The RAPTOR MP470 won the “Product of the Year” award at the Korea International Boat Show in 2016 and 2019. It was also selected as the “Excellent Commercial Item” by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea in 2016 and 2020.
The MP470, the signature model of the RAPTOR series, is highly versatile and utilized by various military units, including special forces, Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT), and Sea Salvage Units (SSU).
Beyond military use, the RAPTOR and the Arancia Inshore Rescue Boat A380 are exported to more than 15 countries and are used by coastal rescue organizations for life-saving missions.

HDPE Boats
Another lineup from LodeStar, the RBB1250, RBB1000, RBB680, RBB600, and RBB480, built with high-density polyethylene (HDPE), represent the next generation of boats designed to perform exceptionally in extreme conditions.
These HDPE boats, among the most robust and eco-friendly ever built, have been developed through advanced hydrodynamic analysis to ensure maximum efficiency, even in challenging environments such as shallow waters or rocky shores.
The durability, corrosion resistance, and low-maintenance properties of HDPE make these boats an ideal choice for harsh marine environments. In addition to being highly functional, these boats are also among the most environmentally friendly, meeting the latest environmental regulations. Recognized for their performance and robustness, these boats have been supplied to various government agencies and military organizations in South Korea since 2019.
Recent deliveries include the Ministry of Environment’s Exploration Vessel in 2022, the Ministry of National Defense’s Rescue Vessel in 2023, and the Korea Coast Guard’s Patrol Vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2024.
The RBB480 and RBB1000 have also received international certification from the Italian classification society RINA, reinforcing their reputation for safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Rigid Hybrid Boats
The Rigid Hybrid Boat (RHB) series, combining HDPE hulls and inflatable collars, is a world-first concept. The hull and tubes are firmly attached using a bolt-roping system, allowing easy attachment and detachment through a simple locking mechanism.
Based on this concept, Bay Industrial has launched the RHB600 and RHB460 models, which are the core products in this category, offering outstanding performance and durability. New models with Length Overall (L.O.A) between 8.5m and 10m are planned for future development.
Bay Industrial Co., Ltd., founded in 1978, transitioned into the leisure boat industry in 1986 when it launched the LodeStar brand. Over the past 40 years, the company has produced approximately 560,000 boats and supplied them to markets around the world. It has gained international recognition by collaborating with renowned brands and expanding its product lineup to meet diverse market demands.

The company operates factories in China and Korea and has established a separate R&D lab within Mokpo National Maritime University in Korea. It continuously invests in technological advancements to maintain its competitive edge. In 2019, the company began focusing on producing eco-friendly HDPE boats and established a dedicated facility in Mokpo to lead this initiative.
The company has been recognized for its innovation, achieving ISO 9001 certification and being designated as a venture business and a global leader among small and medium-sized enterprises.
