This ship hull cleaning ROV operates with various sensors and six cameras attached in all directions when cleaning a ship. Although the ROV body weighs 400 kg, it maintains positive buoyancy in water and operates smoothly.
In addition, TAS GLOBAL has developed its own mobile fouling purification system, which has the capability to purify microorganisms and micro-particles in three stages. It is providing this system service to large shipping companies around the world.
TAS GLOBAL was selected as the lead company by Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries for its national research and development project ‘Hull fouling organism treatment technology development’ in 2021. TAS GLOBAL also first joined the ‘Agreement to manage biological contamination and implement guidelines for ships operating on international routes’ (the GloFouling Partnerships) in Asia. By using this as a stepping stone, TAS GLOBAL launched K-BIOFOULING, and is carrying out a project to provide A-Z customized solutions for hull-pollution management and water-treatment systems for each country’s marine environment.

Expanding its global business territories
