ELODE+NVD & EVD Combination System
BLUEWIN’s unique ELODE+NVD/EVD systems reduce carbon emissions by up to 70%, operating with just one-fifth of the carbon footprint of conventional systems — a breakthrough in the eco-friendly market. ELODE, based on electro-osmosis, reduces sludge moisture to below 60% in just 90 seconds.
The natural ventilation-type NVD/EVD system further dries the sludge to less than 10% moisture content, achieving Class A standards. BLUEWIN’s ELODE+NVD/EVD systems offer a next-generation solution for sludge reduction and drying by combining electro-osmosis, electro-permeation, and electrophoresis technologies. Unlike conventional mechanical dewatering systems, they effectively target the challenging 60–80% “glue zone” moisture range, reducing sludge to below 60% within just one minute and 30 seconds.

NVD operates using a natural ventilation mechanism — without heat or combustion — enabling fully automated 24-hour drying and achieving a final moisture content of under 10% (90% DS). ELODE uses high-frequency direct current (DC) to disrupt cell structures and extract free water from sludge. Its integrated Sludge Feeding Device (SFD) automatically adjusts pressure and belt speed in response to changes in viscosity, conductivity, and moisture content. With energy consumption as low as 0.25–0.45 kWh per liter of water removed, the system delivers more than 70% energy savings compared to thermal dryers. The resulting sludge cake has a high calorific value of 2,500–3,500 kcal/kg, making it suitable for RDF and fuel reuse.

The modular design enables easy installation and maintenance, and the system can be integrated upstream of belt, drum, film, or rotary dryers to enhance overall efficiency.
