Screwstar Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps
In an effort to fulfill a wide range of chemical and industrial processes by rotating paired screws, SVC employs its unique screw-profile engineering expertise. Screwstar dry-screw vacuum pumps from SVC efficiently admit gases from the inlet into the pump inside and compress through the screws’ swept volume toward the discharge.
The hybrid screw design with engineered combination of variable pitches significantly increases compression efficiency for faster and smoother pumping. But, generation for safe pumping, particularly at the discharge, comes from the specialty design of unique hydrodynamic spiral jacket cooling mechanism, resulting in fulfilling the Atmospheres Explosibles (ATEX) directives. It also sharply reduces electrical consumption, but with sufficient pumping from atmospheres to its ultimate vacuum. Non-seized rotation of screws without lubricants between screws and stator can be achieved by precision machining, and balanced assembly of timing gears and bearings that are lubricated but well-sealed from the pumping chamber.
