The existing pipe-connection methods include welding, flange (bolt joints), screw joints, and bending joints using special compressors ― but they require excessive labor costs and extended construction times.
On the other hand, using YOUNGNAM METAL’s pipe couplings is a far more economical method with excellent benefits such as shortening of work time, plus reduced labor and material costs.
It performs well even if the center of the pipe is misaligned, and it has good elasticity for shock, vibration, expansion, bending, etc., so it plays various roles. In particular, it can be applied to earthquake-resistant construction methods. It is also a product that can repair leaks in a short time without stopping the water supply when a leak occurs.

Depending on the fluid of the contents, it can be applied to any types of pipes ― such as oil & gas pipes, water and sewage pipes, district heating pipes, hot and cold-water pipes, steel pipes, PVC / PE pipes, copper pipes, cast-iron pipes, etc. Construction is also possible for connecting pipes of different materials.
There is no risk of fire due to heat sources or fire, and anyone can connect and disconnect with general tools, thus facilitating maintenance and repair work.
YOUNGNAM METAL’s products were selected as World-Class products by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) in 2018, and as excellent technologies by the Korea Water Resources Corporation (KWRC) in 2021.
