Established in Korea in 2020, Philenergy Co., Ltd. is at the forefront of battery manufacturing innovation, driven by its cutting-edge and unrivaled laser technology.
Philenergy sparked a global paradigm shift in notching technology in 2015, moving beyond traditional press methods to advanced laser solutions. Following this, in 2018, Philenergy introduced the ‘Z’ type of stacking equipment, a truly unprecedented advancement in the field.
And last year, Philenergy launched its high-speed, high-precision, and high-productivity 4600 series winder. Despite its newness, this winder has already secured strong recognition from leading European companies.

Laser Notching & Stack Equipment
Philenergy recently introduced integrated equipment that features a high-precision stacking facility, and a notching and cutting facility powered by advanced laser technology. Its laser notching and cutting equipment significantly boosts productivity and efficiency. Additionally, by integrating with stacking, it has improved space efficiency, process continuity, and overall stability.

Winder
Philenergy‘s 4600 series winder is an innovative winder that integrates the previously separate laser and winder processes into a single piece of equipment ― significantly boosting productivity, enhancing quality, improving space efficiency, and dramatically reducing equipment costs.

Laser Notching & Slitter
Mold notching incurs high maintenance costs. Moreover, it demands separate storage for molds and interrupts production during mold changes, posing a critical disadvantage. So, in order to address these issues, laser notching was pioneered by Philenergy.
Furthermore, Philenergy was the first to develop laser notching technology specifically for cathode active material. This can revolutionize the production process for lithium ion batteries by making it significantly more effective.

“As a forward-thinking company, we will not stop here. We are investing in the development of diverse equipment for different types of batteries, including all-solid-state, semi-solid, and hydrogen,” remarked a spokesperson for the company.
