Double Wall Paper Cup Forming Machines

Two types of double wall forming machines
The double wall forming machine (double cup machine) is a machine that produces double cups by adding one layer of paper to the outer surface of ordinary paper cups.
Future Pack’s double wall forming machines come in two types, according to the cup size: FPP-275A, which produces small cups from 8oz to 16oz; and FPP-275C, which produces large cups from 18oz to 32oz. The two machines have almost the same specifications, but there is a difference in the speed of paper cup production. The FPP-275A produces up to 55 per minute, while the FPP-275C produces up to 50 per minute.
Above all, the biggest advantage of double wall forming machines is that they can produce double cups using not only 1PE (polyethylene coated on one side), and 2PE (polyethylene coated on both sides) paper, but also PLA or water-based, plastic-free coating. Moreover, it is an environmentally friendly product that helps solve recycling-related issues.

Low-rise Self-driving Robot

TWINNY recently announced that it has developed ‘Nargo Factory,’ a low-rise self-driving logistics transport robot that can be customized for each work environment.
Nargo Factory’s feature is that the upper module is designed to be easily changed to fit the application, such as pickup, transport/loading of parts, and delivery of finished products. It can be used for various tasks within manufacturing plants and logistics companies in various forms such as robot arms, conveyor belts, rolltainers, and lift attachments.
Through 2D LiDAR sensors, ToF (Time of Flight) sensors, and depth cameras, workers and obstacles are quickly detected, collisions are prevented, and safety is improved.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “We are expecting that the robot will contribute to resolving labor problems — such as labor costs, employee retirement pension burdens, and exodus of personnel — and can help improve productivity by increasing work speed.

TWINNY plans to expand its factory automation market through Nargo Factory. As part of these efforts, the company made its debut at ‘Smart Factory + Automation World 2024,’ which was held at COEX in Seoul, in March. In addition, its goal is to discover partners who can distribute robots and promote product distribution at a rapid pace.
The company’s spokesperson added, “To utilize robots in any type of factory, customization to suit usability is essential. This is the background to the development of Nargo Factory. Real-time Interpretation System using AI technology │ Released December 2023

What is it? A service at Seoul subway stations that uses AI technology to provide real-time interpretation into 13 different languages.
Is it possible for people from different countries to speak in their native language and still communicate? With the new Real-time Interpretation Service at Seoul subway stations, it is! The system uses AI technology to interpret the conversation between foreign tourists and the Korean staff at the subway station. For example, a Chinese tourist can ask how to get to Yongsan Station in Chinese, and the Korean station worker will reply in Korean.
So how does it work? A mic is connected to a see-through touch screen that displays the words spoken. After the tourist asks a question in their own language, their question is translated into Korean and appears on the monitor for the Korean station worker to see. The staff can then respond in Korean and their reply will be translated into the language spoken by the tourist automatically using AI. Because the AI translates the spoken words immediately, there is no delay in communication. The touch-screen can also be used to look up information on T-locker and T-luggage, storage systems in place for tourists.

What is it? | TABA is an app made exclusively for foreign tourists to make hailing taxis easier and more convenient in Seoul.
“Get a taxi in Korea.” That’s the catchphrase of TABA, a foreign tourist-exclusive taxi hailing app. Other taxi apps have a number of inconveniences and stumbling blocks for foreign visitors, from requiring a Korean phone number to register to only allowing payment with bank cards issued in Korea. TABA has approached it differently to remove all obstacles!
