High-Pressure Fog Spray System

[INQ. NO. 2406M07] WITHMIST has recently displayed its advanced high-pressure fog-spray system at a local exhibition. The fog-spray system is a solution that sprays ultra-fine fog at high pressure to form a thick layer. The company has solutions suitable for various sites from 7m to 90m.
Fog sprayers are mainly used at construction sites. They spray a fine mist to capture ultrafine dust floating in the air, and flying dust from the construction process.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “Construction, civil engineering, and demolition sites are often located in downtown or residential areas. Fine fog particles can collect pollutants in the air and lower the site temperature.”
The company has also introduced a fog-spray solution for outdoor air conditioner units. When the outdoor unit operates, it sprays fog at lower temperature. The company spokesperson remarked, “By lowering the temperature around the outdoor unit of the air conditioner by about 5°C, the intake air can be cooled and the energy used for cooling can be reduced accordingly.”

Large EC Blower

[INQ. NO. 2406M06] At HVAC KOREA 2024, held from May 22 through 24, a machinery equipment exhibition in Korea, a large Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) blower for data centers appeared, and attracted the keen attention of visitors.
The EC blower manufactured by GUMSUNG POONGRYUCK Co., Ltd. is a blower that applies the ECM control method that controls the number of rotations with a built-in controller. The power loss caused by power conversion is smaller than a regular blower that requires a separate inverter module, and installation space can also be reduced.
A spokesperson for the company explained, “Large EC blowers are mainly installed in data centers, and we have products of various sizes that we supply as equipment for air conditioners and thermohygrostats.”
EC blowers have until now been mostly foreign products, but the company has finally started to domestically manufacture the fans and motors. The advantage the company has is its fast delivery time of about three weeks.

The entrance-cleaning system is an air-cleansing solution consisting of a built-in entrance purifier and an entrance dual air-cleanser. It is a new-concept entrance-ventilation product that manages indoor air comfortably from the entrance by preventing fine dust, dirt, pets’ hair, and external contaminants on the body from entering the room after going out.
The built-in purifier in the entrance uses a powerful triple filter, including free HEPA, and deodorizing, to remove everything from ultra-fine dust entering the entrance, to various odors and harmful gases. You can easily replace filters and elements periodically through filter notifications.
The entrance dual air-cleanser consists of a cleaner, an air gun, and a crevice brush, and can be used as needed for extracting dust from clothes, removing contamination, and cleaning entranceways. When the entrance dual air cleaner operates, the entrance built-in purifier operates simultaneously to manage contaminants at once.

In addition, Himpel also launched its air monitor Mini, which conveniently monitors air-quality in real time. It is a portable air-quality meter for smartphones that measures carbon-dioxide concentration in four levels ― good, average, bad, and very bad ― in various places including homes, offices, nursing homes, and academies.
A spokesperson for Himpel explained, “As the importance of indoor air-quality management has increased, consumer needs for clean residential ventilation have also become more diverse,” adding “Recently, as the construction market has been adopting ventilation options that consider the convenience of residents through differentiated sales strategies, we therefore expect to see synergy effects through potential business with construction companies.”

Autech’s newly developed ST1 electric ambulance is an electric-vehicle-based emergency mobility that integrates Autech’s unique emergency mobility technology, which has for many years produced special firefighting ambulances and negative pressure special ambulances. The mobility of Staria and the wide space of Solati were applied to increase usability.
ST1 (Service Type 1) is a new electric commercial vehicle developed by Hyundai Motor Company, and is a business platform that can be expanded into an optimized form depending on the purpose of use, based on the chassis-cab.

Autech developed the ST1 electric ambulance concept car ST1. In addition, Autech also exhibited several competitive products: special ambulance; negative pressure special ambulance; low-floor special ambulance; negative-pressure special ambulance; and emergency medical equipment.
A spokesperson for Autech explained, “Autech, a leader in advanced emergency mobility, has developed the ST1 electric ambulance concept car in line with the global transportation environment changing towards eco-friendly mobility,” adding, “We will collaborate with the National Fire Agency (NFA) in the future to enhance the practicality of the ST1 electric- ambulance concept car by reflecting the vivid opinions of firefighting paramedics in the field.”

Vascular Intervention Robot

[INQ. NO. 2406M03] LN Robotics Inc. recently presented its surgical assistance robot, the All-purpose Vascular Intervention Assistance Robot (AIVAR). This robot, which is currently scheduled for commercialization in Korea, is a robot that assists coronary angiography and interventional surgery, and boasts expanded surgical tool operability and a unique haptic interface compared to existing foreign products.
AIVAR reflects precision-control technology that expresses the movements of a skilled operator through a robot system, and has solidified its differentiation with multi-channel surgical tool control technology that responds to complex procedures.

In particular, various clinical applications are possible, such as remote intervention procedures for emergency patients, and non-face-to-face intervention procedures to respond to infection situations ― and it can even prevent radiation exposure of medical staff that may occur during procedures.
A spokesperson for LN Robotics explained, “We recently launched AIVAR in the domestic market by promoting the sale of products based on innovative medical technology, and we are also accelerating our sales activities for this purpose,” adding, “For overseas markets, we are entering the market with the approval of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and looking for local partners, targeting Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and South America as much as possible.”
