PLAMIX, a manufacturer of synthetic-resin processing machinery, has made various efforts for continuous development, despite the challenging business environment, since its establishment in 1998.
In particular, PLAMIX has grown and developed as an export company by securing original technology, diversifying overseas markets, and continuous research and development, especially amidst various difficult business environments that were unstable and uncertain ― such as extreme tension and conflict between countries, low economic growth rates, and environmental changes due to climate change.

In 2022, PLAMIX reduced costs by standardizing the design to secure price competitiveness, and using a manual for bolt nuts according to mechanical strength ― by utilizing its advanced technology research center.
In addition, PLAMIX has proven its ability to secure original technologies and reflect stability and practicality, meeting customer requests and needs by improving dispersion through impeller modification in the mixer, securing wear-resistance through ceramic coating, and incorporating mixing technology for secondary batteries.
Through these efforts and achievements, PLAMIX was registered as an innovative growth-type venture company. As a specialized material parts equipment company, PLAMIX has succeeded in registering eight trademarks ― including an extruder for plastic processing (Trademark Registration No. 40-2100560), a non-cleaning paint mixer (Patent No. 10-0503607), and a composite extrusion device (Patent No. 10-2498359).
In addition to maximizing technological value through securing original technology, the productivity improvement led to securing price competitiveness, which became the driving force for developing into a specialized parts and equipment company as one of the 1,000+ small hidden champions selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS).
PLAMIX has diversified its export destinations to Uzbekistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam ― in addition to its existing export destinations of China, India, Hungary, and Poland.
PLAMIX has also taken the opportunity to export entire production lines including extrusion lines, going beyond single export items such as mixers and cutters.

Securing domestic and international customers through diversified marketing
In particular, PLAMIX has proven its quality excellence to domestic and international clients by meeting their various requirements for increased customer satisfaction ― especially led by its overseas technology sales team ― and through securing stability, energy efficiency, and energy saving, easy and simple operation, storage of used data, and preemptive reflection of technology for efficient operation using data.
Reliability has been secured by solving customer needs and problems, and it also envisages becoming a first-class company in the synthetic-resin processing machinery manufacturing field. In addition to overseas exhibition-centered marketing, PLAMIX is increasing the brand value of its own through the Internet, website, and posting of technical YouTube videos.
Providing customers with added value by utilizing technology is also an important factor for the development and growth of the company ― but in addition to the technological value, another parallel value that PLAMIX pursues is to seek the improvement of human value through understanding, respect, and harmony of all employees working together.
PLAMIX believes that creativity and imagination that evolve and renew through human-centered corporate management that works together with customers’ voices and suggestions will maximize technological value that goes together with human value.

In 2024, PLAMIX won recognition for its efforts in enhancing technological value ― with exports of US$5 million and a presidential citation. And it is expected that the company will be growing and developing into an ESG company ― through selection as a KOICA’s IBS business operator.
“We recognize that we have grown by adding technological value through harmony and respect during the difficult and challenging 2024, and we promise to strive even harder this year by becoming an ESG company that pursues environmental and social values along with technological value,” remarked Je Young-hwan, CEO of the company.
