Oxygen-free copper is an alloy that maximizes ductility and minimizes hardening due to processing by containing more than 99.95% copper, less than 10ppm oxygen, and extremely restricting other impurities. It is an essential material for magnetrons in microwave ovens, commutators for high-speed motors, coaxial cables, and crimping terminals.
