Eco--friendly-fumigator Technology developed Bio-Master [Pat.], the world’s first kind of environmentally friendly fumigator for preserving archives and protecting cultural properties from any biological deterioration. The development was originated by a collaboration project among national organizations including National Archives of Korea and the company to meet the requirements from environmental issues.

The eco-friendly fumigation is ensured by using harmless fumigants, safe to the human body, environment and objects to be fumigated as its main components are made of plant extracts including herbal essences.

The company’s CEO Choi Young-sin explained, “Many harmful chemicals have been used for preservation of important cultural properties. However, Biomist has developed Bio-Master, the archives and cultural property fumigation system that uses natural environmentally friendly substances and obtained a local patent as well as NEP (New Excellent Product) certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
