has been leading the field of cold forging. It has been manufacturing bolts, nuts, rivets and special fasteners for automobiles, construction, defense industry, electronic products and alternative energy such as solar and wind power.
Currently, it provides parts to automakers including Hyundai, Kia, Renault Samsung, GM Korea, Ssangyong, Hyundai Dymos, DAS, Rear Korea, Autoliv Korea as well as overseas clients such as JCI Europe, Daisan Japan and CBOL USA.
Supplying Fasteners to the Automobile Industry
For the past 30 years, Hankook Precision Industry has been supplying fasteners to the automobile industry. It has the capacity to produce 12,000 tons or 1 billion fasteners yearly. It provides most of the fasteners that go into manufacturing passenger cars, but the main products include seat mechanisms, seat tracks, seat belt related bolts, nuts and welding rivets along with special fasteners.
Hankook Precision Industry has captured 80% of the domestic market. Using the raw materials from POSCO, it is always prepared to produce any cold forging products for the automobile industry.
