A Tool-specialized Exhibition

TOOL TECH 2017 will provide visitors a unique opportunity to have a closer look at every actual aspect of both Korean and foreign tools and the related industries including the trends of related equipment industries and technology development of cutting tools. On display will be about 45,000 items enabling visitors to get a birds-eyeview of the present and future status of Korean and foreign tools and related industries.

TOOL TECH 2017, which has been held biennially since 1989 as a leading tool exhibition, will be held on the largest scale from Oct. 24 to 27, 2017 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang.

Korea Tools Industry Cooperative (KOTIC) will hold TOOL TECH 2017 in KINTEX, the biggest exhibition center in Korea. KOTIC consists of more than 200 companies manufacturing tools.

TOOL TECH 2017 is a toolspecialized exhibition, and the only one in Korea that exhibits high-speed steel tools, carbide tools, diamond tools in addition to working tools, electric power tools, pneumatic tools and other relevant tools. It takes place simultaneously with Korea Machinery Fair (KOMAF), and Korea Metal Week, providing participants with lasting synergy effects.

TOOL TECH has been designated as a “Promising Exhibition” by the Korean government since 2003, “Supporting Exhibition” by Gyeonggi province and “Internationally Endorsed Exhibition” by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE). In other words, the Korean government has recognized TOOL TECH as a high level professional and promising exhibition.

Korea ranks 5th in the world in the motor industry that is a front/rear base of the tool industry; and 5th in the machine tool industry and the mold industry, respectively. The Korean tool market will be the center of the Asian tool market because it is forecasted to grow even more than 10% a year in various industries including shipbuilding, aircraft, semiconductor, electricity, electronics, construction, and the material industry, etc. In this situation, TOOL TECH 2017 will offer participants a good opportunity to meet the demands of the Korean tool market and other relevant machinery markets, which show their potentiality by growing 10% on average every year. | Blog Magazine of korean-machinery, brands and Goods
