[INQ. NO. 2210M14] Seorin Machine & Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded in 1984, and specializes in manufacturing large-sized cylinders and roll-polishing systems used for steel mills. The company is also producing steel mill facilities, cylinders with built-in sensors, general industrial machines, etc.

Seorin Machine & Engineering’s major customers include POSCO and Hyundai Steel, and it is exporting to Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and the USA.

AGC (Automatic Roll Gauge Control) Cylinder

AGC cylinder, as a core facility for the rolling process, controls the location of upper and lower rolls at the automatic roll gauge control system to determine the thickness of finally manufactured rolled steel, and is installed and used for hot-rolled and cold-rolled plates at steel mills.

Seorin Machine & Engineering has developed its own cylinder response tester used to conduct static and dynamic responsiveness tests so as to guarantee the performance of AGC cylinders. Being equipped with its own design-production system, the company is also able to alter outer shapes and specifications as requested by customers. And, various displacement sensors that measure the location of cylinder rods can be applied in duplicate to the desired location.

Roll-Shaping Machine (R.S.M.) & Online Roll Profiler (O.R.P.) System
R.S.M&O.R.P System, as equipment installed in hot-rolled FM lines at steel mills, is a facility used to remove foreign substances arising from work rolls during the rolling process in real time. The system improves work efficiency, extending the life of work rolls, enhancing the quality of products, etc. It consists largely of control, machines, and special cables. It is currently supplied to POSCO, Hyundai Steel, etc.

Seorin Machine & Engineering has its own test facility, similar to the actual work environment, and is outstanding in manufacturing the whole system and relevant components and in responding to repair requests.
