ESC pressure sensor
[INQ. NO. 2211M56] The pressure sensor developed by Daeyang Electric Co., Ltd. is used for the ESC system that controls the vehicle body posture and braking power when losing steering torque.
More advanced than the previous ABS and TCS systems, the ESC system is designed to independently control each wheel’s brake, taking care of steering angles and braking pressure. As such, it is a safety device used to protect the driver.
The ESC system is also designed to independently control each wheel’s brake and the starting output. As it controls steering wheel angles, the braking pressure, and the vehicle speed, it is used as a basic component for the ABS and TCS systems.
Pressure sensor for hydrogen fuel cell
A pressure sensor used for hydrogen fuel cells has been developed for hydrogen vehicles by Daeyang Electric.
Daeyang Electric’s products are used in Hyundai’s hydrogen car model, NEXO. At high temperatures of over 700bar, or low temperatures and other extreme environments, the accuracy can be checked.
Sensor
Daeyang Electric supplies various type of sensors measuring temperature / pressure / humidity / ultrasonic flow as a module and as a system, which have been self-developed and manufactured.
Daeyang Electric has developed all the core technologies for the sensors such as Micro-Electro Mechanical System (MEMS), SoC design, simulation and reliability test, etc.
Recently, Daeyang Electric developed pressure sensors for the Electric Stability Control (ESC) system for automobiles, and since 2014 Daeyang Electric started to supply these sensors to HKMC and SYMC.
