Intermediate Shaft
This is an intermediate part between the column and the gear box that transmits the driver’s steering torque generated from the steering wheel to the rack gear. It is a ball slider type IMS with a non-welding structure applicable to the EPS high & low torque system of the electronic steering system and it has robustness of breakage compared to conventional welded intermediate shafts.
It secures the best performance by reducing rotational torque through a specialized assembly process and provides quality through the sliding performance secured by minimizing looseness in terms of durability due to the ball slider. With its own design capability and one-stop engineering & test facility with smart production lines, Taelim can supply high quality and competitive products stably, and provide objective and reliable test results based on analysis using big data.
ERW pipe
With special ERW equipment and tooling, thick and narrow pipe can be produced up to 10mm range of 25~76mm, substituting area of seamless tubes. Tubes for automobiles & construction equipment, boiler tube & heat exchanger, and high strength thick wall tube by using high-tensile steel are being produced. Different design/production are available depending on steel grade, thickness and purpose, and Taelim has the production capability to meet various demands of clients.
Taelim also can provide cost reduction to client through analysis regarding lightweight/elimination of additional processes, etc. Taelim’s tube factory in Zhangjiagang, China, produces precision tubes and pipes, and Taelim can meet demanding quality requirements through long experience in manufacturing tubes, and in development of related products.
