YN-couplings are the easiest way to join and repair pipes of all materials. They require no special tools or pipe-end preparation.

YN-pipe couplings provide a fast and easy permanent connection to join two pipes together. YN-couplings come fully assembled and ready to install. A torque wrench is the only tool required to do the job. With a minimum of two bolts, simply slip over or wrap around the ends of the two pipes and tighten the bolts according to the torque mentioned on the product label.

There are two different models of pipe couplings to suit different applications of pipe materials — namely, restrained couplings and non-restrained couplings.

Restrained couplings provide pull-out resistance and axial restraint, and lock the pipes together, leaving no allowance for vibration or movement. Non-restrained couplings are however designed to allow for movement — but do not provide pull-out resistance and axial restraint, or lock the pipes together.

The pipe couplings feature flexibility, light weight, and pipe-misalignment, and are resistant to vibration, vacuum, and fire — and are used in shipbuilding, wastewater treatment, general industry, and construction.

YN-couplings are used to join and repair any plain end pipe including steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, FRP, PVC, CPVC, C900, copper and CuNi piping.

Grip Type Coupling : GR-S, GR-L (Pipe connector with axial restraint)
The YOUNGNAM GRIP-couplings join plain end pipes with axial restraint. YOUNGNAM GRIP couplings provide pull-out resistance in excess of the couplings rated working pressure.

Whether for pressure or suction lines, thick or thin wall pipe, YN-GRIP-couplings can be installed quickly, safely and economically.

Repair Clamp Hinge Type Coupling: RCH-S, RCH-L
The YN-REPAIR HINGE is a split-in-half coupling and open-split version of MultiFlex, offering all the YOUNGNAM REPAIR HINGE benefits, plus being able to make repairs to in-service pipelines.

With the YOUNGNAM REPAIR HINGE coupling, leaks due to faulty weld joints, pitting holes and short cracks can be temporarily or permanently repaired with minimal down time.

Fire Protection Cover Grip Type Coupling: FPC-GR-S
Fire Protection Cover Grip Ring pipe couplings FPC GR-S (DN20-DN350) withstand fire better than regular couplings. Couplings suitable to be used with metal pipes and suitable for engine-room application on ships.
