Fast operation is possible thanks to simplified opening/closing processes. This valve is applicable to control of low/high-pressure water. It is mostly used for firefighting pipelines and industrial water lines.

Korea’s Consumer Sentiment Chills by Fastest Pace since Impeachment

https://korean-machinery.com///inquiryAccording to data recently released by the Bank of Korea, South Korea’s composite consumer sentiment index (CCSI) for June deteriorated 2.4 percentage points from the May reading to 105.5, lowest since 100.8 in April last year.
The last time consumer sentiment soured so abruptly was in November 2016 following the legislative impeachment on sitting Korean president Park Geun-hye.
The index just managed to stay above the 100-threshold. A number beneath it means consumers are more negative than positive about the economy. After deteriorating for five months in a row, sentiment briefly improved last month amid expectations for eased geopolitical risk and revived inter-Korean economic ventures following the South-North Korea summit.
The indices measuring present sentiment for the economic conditions and outlook for the economy in coming months fell 5 basis points respectively to 84 and 96.
The worsening sentiment, which can further dampspending and domestic demand, and job data, as well as uneasiness on the external front due to escalated trade conflicts among economy majors of the U.S., China, and Europe, will likely to put the Bank of Korea in a greater bind. The bank has stayed pat on its rate at 1.50 percent despite increases in the U.S. Federal Reserve but cannot put off tightening any longer due to widening gap. The survey for this month was conducted from June 11 to June 18 on 2,200 households across the country, of which 1,958 households responded. (Source:KITA)

Eco-friendly Care Mat

U-Care Mat is an innovative product that can prevent various harmful substances from entering through the entrance door. U-Care Mat, having obtained KC Certification for the first time in the industry, is strong and durable (the triple structure of upper, middle and bottom plate), and the mat height for it is low and the edge slope is gentle. This product is manufactured with user safety as a top priority.
In particular, in order to reduce noise drastically and to maximize the suction power of the mat bottom, we maximized the suction efficiency by minimizing the contact area of the mat’s upper plate (completed the design registration in 2014). In order to minimize the residues of the top plate and give a neat finishing touch, we injection-molded the end tip of the hose, thus making the hose connected easily and conveniently.
Especially, for protection against an emergency such as a fire, U-CARETECH applied the luminescence line to the ball of the top plate for emergency induction in dark conditions. (Currently the only such product in Korea) Because of the ball characteristics of the mat, static may occur. By using the ball containing antistatic agent, U-Care Tech has considered the consumer’s health as a top priority.
This product consists of a control box and mat. The mat sizes come in five basic types and two directional types range from 600 to 1,000mm and additional orders are available. Especially, the U-Care Mat has the highest efficiency because it exerts strong suction force even to the corner of the maximum size.

Cleaning Equipment of Refrigerant Pipes

Bumsuk Engineering has developed a cleaning equipment of refrigerant pipes for the system air conditioner which can use the recovered refrigerant as a cleaning agent.
R22 was the refrigerant of system air-conditioners (multi-conditioners, heat pumps) installed before 2010 in residential complexes, large office buildings, public institutions (schools, libraries, etc.). In cases where an outdoor unit using R22 refrigerant is replaced with a new one using R410a refrigerant, as the existing refrigerant pipe is embedded in a wall or a ceiling, it is often reused as it is without cleaning.
When you use R410a refrigerant for the outdoor unit of newly replaced system air-conditioners, be sure to clean the inside of the already installed refrigerant pipes before reusing it as refrigeration oil or other contaminants are attached to the inside of the pipes.
In the conventional cleaning method, pipes are cleaned by connecting the recovery system and regenerator separately even in case of using either chemical cleaning agent (solvent cleaner) or existing refrigerant. However, mineral oil or residues of acid content existing in the oil cannot be eliminated even by vacuum cleaning over three times; and mineral oil, moisture and acid content are not eliminated even after vacuuming for one week, thereby causing problems such as damage of the compressor.
A spokesperson for Bumsuk Engineering explained, “As all new system air conditioners (outdoor units) use HFC series R410A or R407C (partially imported goods), synthetic oil is used for refrigeration and, as a result, contaminants are generated while the mineral oil passes through the existing pipes. Such contaminants can clog the refrigerant circuit or damage the compressor.”

 

Eliminating impurities by more than 99%

The cleaning equipment of refrigerant pipes developed by Bumsuk Engineering is a single piece of equipment combined with the functions of recovery and regeneration capable of recovering and regenerating the existing refrigerant and uses the recovered refrigerant as a cleaning agent.
A spokesperson for Bumsuk Engineering added, “We obtained a patent for ‘Cleaning equipment for refrigerant pipes in air-conditioners and its cleaning method’ by automatically controlling pressure, temperature and electronic valve with technology of inside of pipe cleaning by using the refrigerant (R22) recovered from the removed system air-conditioner. The patented refrigerant pipe cleaning equipment is a technology-cum-equipment that removes more than 95% of impurities such as oil attached to pipes by cleaning 40 meters of pipes connected to indoor unit for about 20 minutes.”
It is possible to extend the service life of the outdoor unit by eliminating the cause of its failure through cleaning when the equipment is replaced with a new one. By reusing the pipes, you can expect saving of installation costs and work time as well as reduction of waste. Especially, as the cost for removing the refrigerant pipes installed in both the outer and inner walls and the roof is not required and the pipes are reused, you can reduce costs drastically.

According to KIA, ‘The New K5 Hybrid’ has a combined fuel economy of 18.0 km / ℓ (based on 16-inch tires), which is more fuel efficient than the previous model (17.5 km / ℓ). The lithium-ion polymer battery capacity increased by 8.6% from 1.62kWh to 1.76kWh, improving the driving efficiency so that the car can be operated only by electricity without fuel consumption. The design adopted the elements of ‘The New K5’ released earlier this year.
LED fog lamps with a horizontal layout, a three-dimensional bumper design and a new type of projection headlamp were added to the front section and a LED rear combination lamp was applied to the rear section, emphasizing dynamic images.
The sides are equipped with a hybrid-only wheel with minimal air resistance, an emblem exclusively for eco-friendly car (ECO-hybrid), and 17-inch aerodynamic wheels.

Set-top Type Navigation System

In addition, as functions such as warning of the rear blind zone, notification of lane change or departure, etc. were added, INAVI X3 Cube has enhanced intuitiveness for route guidance and information delivery function for safe driving.
The advanced driver assistance system has newly adopted the pedestrian detection warning that senses and notifies the driver of an unexpected situation such as a person jumping on the road or jaywalking when driving at a speed of less than 20 km per hour and the forward collision warning which has added the urban function that calculates the speed of your car and the front car in real-time in the low-speed driving of 30km or slower per hour in addition to the high-speed driving and notifies the driver of the situation to prevent collision. Thus, INAVI X3 Cube supports the largest level of functions such as existing lane departure detection systems, front-car departure alerts, traffic light change alerts, rapid-curb deceleration alarm systems. etc.
In addition, functions such as T-Link which is a telematics service, 3D map which has adopted new themes including nature, modern, cartoon, illustration etc., and HD DMB have been applied to expand the usability of the navigation system.
The related party of Thinkware explained, “As a product enhancing the usability of imported cars’ navigation system, INAVI X3 Cube can provide the drivers with flexibility to choose. It will become a product that can enhance users’ satisfaction with efficient and safe driving support like the HD augmented reality solution and the state-of-the-art driver support system as well as various infotainment functions.”
The basic price of INAVI X3 Cube with 64G will be KRW649,000 including an AR camera.
