In order to satisfy the diverse needs of its customers, Sindo has more than 20 former facilities ranging from 80 tons to 2,220 tons, In particular, 2,200 ton former facility it possess is a facility uniquely owned by itself among global cold forging companies. In addition, as its strength, Sindo has 13 knuckle press facilities ranging from 150ton to 1,500ton that can meet the size and specifications required by the customers by 99% or higher.

In addition, as Sindo is operating a fully automated mold warehouse in connection with ERP, the accurate molds of facilities and products required by itself are always supplied and, for the products exported overseas, 100% inspection is carried out by automatic inspection machine.

The Inner Rod product, which is the flagship product of Sindo, is an item connecting the suspension and control arm of the automobile and it can be produced in various grades ranging from steel to aluminum. In addition, the Inner Bush Rod is assembled with rubber, absorbing the vibration coming from the vehicle. Besides, Sindo produces diverse lightweight products, such as various shafts, housings, ball studs and nipples.

AI-based ‘Untact’ Enforcement System for Parking Spots for the Disabled

This is a kind of AI-based enforcement system that can be moved and installed. It was designed to tackle the increasing frequency of illegal parking problems in parking areas for the disabled.
It was manufactured with a good structure suitable to be effectively installed in various types of parking spots for the disabled by correcting the flaws of the existing fixed enforcement system.

SHINE identifies the vehicle license plate and the parking sign for the disabled when vehicles are entering. It displays the green color when the vehicle for the disabled person is about to park, indicates the red color when general vehicles is illegally trying to park in the parking spot for the disabled. It takes a photograph of multi-lanes, vehicles plates, and the disabled parking sign – by using a 360-degree rotary camera.
Once a vehicle enters the parking spot for the disabled, this system starts recognizing the vehicle, vehicle number plate, rotation correction, vehicle number, parking sign, etc. The program for this system is being made after the enforcement data is created.

This AI-based ‘untact’ enforcement system – through interworking with big data ensures enforcement and guide in ‘untact’ a real-time basis – enhances efficiency in the enforcement by reducing up to 30 percent of the burden of administrative work.
IPCAMP is currently broadening its business field by utilizing not only the existing enforcement system for illegal parking spaces thanks to the enhanced efficiency in enforcement, but also of video, image data-based AI solutions and applied software, and a multifunctional system utilizing AI CCTV.

In general, the manufacturing process of cage consists of such stages as cutting, turning, piercing, broaching, heat treatment, and polishing. Among them, SAMMI Co., Ltd. is currently only engaged in the polishing process that requires high precision.

The polishing processing is composed of three parts – centerless process in the outer diameter process; high-frequency air spindle high-speed polishing in the inner diameter process; and high-frequency air spindle window polishing in the window process.
In deciding cage’s quality-level, the two are essential components – window uniformity and error degree – are determined in the polishing process.
SAMMI, as a professional polishing and process enterprise, has been producing cages to be inserted in constant velocity joints – a vehicle’s steering drive component.

Waste Styrofoam Baler

The existing heat baling method was only capable of recycling good-quality Styrofoam, with such some problems as: excessive logistics costs caused by too much volume and collection & transportation; impossible to recycle if containing foreign objects; and the generation of toxic gas and odors.
SERIM Machinery’s steam compression method, however, is a product that can be eco-friendly recycled by overcoming such problems.

SERIM Machinery manufactures and delivers waste Styrofoam balers to local governments including Wando county and Haenam county in Jeollanam-do Province, etc., which have been concerned over the occurrence of too much waste buoys and it thus helped those local governments not only to decrease marine wastes, but also to save budget expenditure significantly through recycling.
In particular, SERIM Machinery is currently receiving many good reports from fishermen in several fishing village societies where the company processes Styrofoam buoys — a main culprit of marine wastes — on each spot by using a movable waste Styrofoam baler (Patent No. 10-0618317).

Furthermore, SERIM Machinery is expanding its business area into the recycling of Styrofoam packing materials containing foreign objects including urban residential wastes as well.
The president of SERIM Machinery noted, “We will take the initiative to support the global issue of carbon neutrality policy through stable processing of waste Styrofoam, etc., and thus to create a cleaner environment.”

Korea Business Partnership Online Expo, a New Contactless Marketing Channel in the COVID-19 Era

In order to promote the exports of Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have been sluggish for some time due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, KOTRA is strengthening its online marketing efforts by focusing on contactless channels. Korean companies may post comprehensive product information such as product photos, videos, product descriptions, catalogs, certifications, and patent information on the online exhibition hall; and potential buyers may send purchase offers and request video meetings. The Buy Korea platform supports a one-stop transaction process, so if a buyer wants to purchase any product displayed thereon, it can make the payment at the exhibition hall right away and receive the product.

Currently, a total of 1,132 products of 270 companies that participated in KOTRA’s economic events involving trips and visits are registered on the Business Partnership Online Expo; and their categories range widely from beauty and personal care, to health and medical services, and to machinery and heavy equipment.
