YEBBUJANA R2, Korea’s first electric car released by Power Plaza, was created by combining futuristic technology with a more beautiful design than the previous version. YEBBUJANA R2 is equipped with a unique dolphin-shaped design emphasizing the beauty and simplicity of the car body by making the most of the curved line through using the One-piece Underfloor method. The black line of the rear is simple yet provides dynamism and elegance with maximized volume.
The YEBBUJANA R2 is able to travel a distance of up to 765km at a 60km/h cruise speed on a single charge. It features a top speed of 199km/h and speeds from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, which is as fast as a sports car’s acceleration. Power Plaza has been releasing its unique electric YEBBUJANA series at Seoul Motor Show since 2011. The One-piece Underfloor applied to YEBBUJANA R2 this time refers to a Korean patented special technology developed by Power Plaza.
The supreme feature of the One-piece Underfloor, which is designed in a monocoque construction to integrate the body and frame, is that it allows dramatic reduction of facility investment and related costs compared with the conventional vehicle production approach, while proving that electric cars can be produced even in a small manufacturing facility.
In regard to the performance, YEBBUJANA R2 can travel up to 765km at a 60km/h cruising speed on just one charge. This remarkable mileage on a single charge is based on the built-in 81kWh battery (optional) and carbon fiber material. It was made possible thanks to the successful reduction of empty vehicle weight down to 643kg. In addition, the powertrain adopts a highperformance 80kW permanent magnet type synchronous motor and inverter and is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, allowing a supercar level performance featuring explosive acceleration of 199km/h and an acceleration speed from 0-60 mph in 4.6sec. The self-developed battery module in the series, and parallel connection ensures stability and highperformance.

A condenser is required to cool down the hot refrigerant coming from a compressor, so it is located at the front of a car where it can be exposed to the maximum amount of air. As the hot refrigerant flows into the condenser, it dissipates heat by flowing through a system of ultra-thin tubes that are held together by fins.
A radiator is located at the front of a car’s engine, just behind the condenser, and is the most important component of the cooling module because it keeps the engine from overheating. The radiator is made up of a radiator core, along with two plastic side tanks, and all the necessary connections and attachments. The radiator core is made up of a network of fins and tubes that run either horizontally or vertically, depending on the application.
