The upper caulking technology developed to improve corrosion problems
Furthermore, CTR developed upper caulking technology to improve corrosion problems caused by exposure of lower machining parts (unpainted parts) that is a problem with the lower caulking type. The upper caulking type whose machining part (unpainted area) is formed toward the upper direction and is not exposed outward after the final boot is assembled, which is beneficial to suppressing corrosion.


CTR’s upper caulking technology was first applied to domestic automobiles and completely eliminated issues such as bad caulking and excessive gaps. Consequently, this technology has proved to be superior, and furthermore registered a patent — and now it is being widely applied to domestic and overseas automobiles.

Automotive Pressure Sensors

ESC pressure sensor
[INQ. NO. 2211M56] The pressure sensor developed by Daeyang Electric Co., Ltd. is used for the ESC system that controls the vehicle body posture and braking power when losing steering torque.


More advanced than the previous ABS and TCS systems, the ESC system is designed to independently control each wheel’s brake, taking care of steering angles and braking pressure. As such, it is a safety device used to protect the driver.


The ESC system is also designed to independently control each wheel’s brake and the starting output. As it controls steering wheel angles, the braking pressure, and the vehicle speed, it is used as a basic component for the ABS and TCS systems.

Pressure sensor for hydrogen fuel cell
A pressure sensor used for hydrogen fuel cells has been developed for hydrogen vehicles by Daeyang Electric.
Daeyang Electric’s products are used in Hyundai’s hydrogen car model, NEXO. At high temperatures of over 700bar, or low temperatures and other extreme environments, the accuracy can be checked.
