Once the company’s robot system is introduced, it is possible to cook up to 30 brands of food in one kitchen by dividing the space for each stage of cooking, from preparation to combination, semicooking, and packaging.
WAVE attracted a pre-series A investment of 5 billion won in November 2021, followed by a series A1 investment of 4 billion won in March this year.
A spokesperson for the company remarked, “We are aiming to complete the series A round with a scale of 10 billion won by the second half of this year.”
WAVE has entered into cooperative partnerships with various brands, and provides kitchen operation services that allow food service brands to expand their business more conveniently and quickly through robots and artificial intelligence technology — without having to perform the difficult kitchen operations themselves.

VISCARE CO., LTD. developed a water tank trailer for fire suppression and a watering device that penetrates the battery case last year, and completed all prototype production after applying for patents at home and abroad. Currently, efforts are being made to spread its use to the frontlines of firefighting sites.
The water tank trailer for fire suppression developed by the company has the advantage of being able to easily enter underground parking lots when using a small tow truck because it is designed with a low vehicle weight. Therefore, in Korea, where most of the electric charging facilities are installed in underground parking lots, using this product is expected to be able to respond to a wide range of EV fires.

The battery case penetrating watering device is a portable device equipped with a hollow drill in a hydraulic motor. This equipment penetrates the battery pack case under the vehicle and sprays fire suppressant water directly onto the battery cells. By injecting fireextinguishing water closest to the fire point, the efficiency of the battery cell’s cooling and extinguishing is excellent. Above all, it has the advantage of being manufactured and developed to ensure the maximum safety of firefighters. In addition, the battery-case-penetrating water sprinkler is designed to effectively extinguish EV fires even in sites where it is difficult for a water tank trailer to enter, and when used together with a water tank trailer, the fire-suppression efficiency is expected to increase even more.
Lee Jeong-min, CEO of the company, stressed “Our EV fire-suppression method is based on innovative practical technology developed by looking at the current situations in Europe and the United States, as well as in Korea. Korean Companies’ Ceaseless Efforts to PromoteAdvanced Export Items

Korea’s exports decreased for seven consecutive months until April this year in the aftermath of the prolonged economic slump in the semiconductor sector, which produces the nation’s main export product.
Exports of automobiles also increased in April, but failed to make up for the slump in semiconductors, petrochemicals, and displays.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) recently announced that the total amount of Korea’s exports in April was calculated at US$49.62 billion, which was a 14.2% decrease from April 2022.

As a result, the monthly export volume decreased from the same period last year for seven consecutive months from October 2022. In addition, the export scale in April was down from March 2023 ($55.1 billion).
Amidst this overall situation, Korean exporters are continuously making earnest efforts, including releasing new advanced items, to access new potential markets and thereby elevate their global brand awareness.

Two types of double wall forming machines
